This Rim is designed to provide maximum support for your basketball goals. It is made from 5/8" diameter cold drawn alloy steel round and is formed into an 18" inside diameter ring. A second ring is welded on top for added strength. The inside of the rings is positioned 6" from the face of the backboard with a heavy, L-shaped, formed steel mounting plate with 5" x 5" mounting hole centers for mounting on standard glass, wood, and fiberglass type backboards. This rim is compatible with all Center-Strut R direct-mount type support frames. The rim is rigidly braced with a 1/2" diameter cold drawn alloy steel round that is formed and welded in place. It also comes with twelve "no-tie" net attachment clips for net attachment. The goal is finished with a durable, official orange powder-coat finish for a professional look. It is also provided with a high quality white nylon net and plated mounting hardware. The mounting bolts are SAE Grade 5 for the ultimate in strength and reliability. This heavy-duty front-mount goal is designed to withstand the toughest of playground use. The double rim construction ensures maximum durability and strength, while the 5" x 5" mounting pattern makes installation easy.
